Wanting to direct films from a young age, John started building and filming animatronics at home which led to a position with Warner Bros on the Harry Potter films. John has since worked on a several Hollywood films over 2 decades including Warhorse, Where The Wild Things Are, Brothers Grimm and Batman. John's directing career took o ff when he was nominated for the Young Director's Award for his calling card short 'Nolan's Cheddar’. John has since directed commercials for Nike, Adidas, Photoshop, Jurassic World and Just Eat, and his celebrity clients include Lady Gaga, Bjork. John has recently directed an 8-minute promo for Ian Brown (Stone Roses) based on 80’s favourite movie 'BIG'... he is currently directing Ian Brown's latest promo and his animatronic e ffects studio in London have recently built 40 practical dinosaurs for the new Jurassic World film and characters for the Chocolate Factory prequel – 'Wonka".
