Raya al Souliman is a film director and writer based in Zurich, with a diverse portfolio spanning commercials, music videos, fashion films, and documentaries. She earned her master’s degree in Film Directing from the University of Theatre and Cinema in Bucharest in 2013, and has since directed several acclaimed short films that have been showcased and awarded at international festivals. In addition to her work in the film industry, Raya has developed a unique visual language for her commercial projects. She is deeply involved in every stage of the production process, from ideation to execution, and consistently delivers creative input that elevates each project. With a keen eye for casting and a passion for art direction and styling, Raya brings a strong sense of narrative and mood to her work. She is particularly skilled at working with actors and bringing out their best performances.
